Please read these Terms of Service before using the 100 Castles website or booking a trip. By using the website or booking a trip, you agree to these terms.

1. About Our Services

I am a private individual, not a registered company. 100 Castles is my personal hobby project, and arranging trips is a side activity rather than my main source of income. The trips I accept fall under Poland's unregistered activity framework (działalność nierejestrowana) set out in Article 5 of the Entrepreneurs' Law of 6 March 2018. I check the remaining quarterly limit when booking enquiries arrive, so availability may be more limited toward the end of a quarter.

I offer guided outings in Lower Silesia (Poland), Northern Bohemia (Czech Republic), and nearby regions. The specific route, service, date, and price are agreed in writing before a booking is confirmed. The agreement is governed by Polish law, subject to any mandatory rules that apply.

2. Booking and Confirmation

• Bookings are confirmed only after receiving written confirmation from Vasily via email
• A booking is considered final when both parties have agreed on date, route, and price
• I recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance, especially during peak season (May–September)
• Last-minute bookings may be available subject to availability

3. Pricing and Payment

If you need an invoice or another specific billing document, especially for a company booking, please tell me when you first enquire and provide the billing details required. Advance notice lets me check the applicable requirements and agree the practical details before confirming the trip. This request is for planning only and does not limit any right to a document that I am required to issue by law.

• Tour prices are confirmed in PLN or EUR before booking; the Czech motorway vignette, when needed, is charged in CZK at its current official price
• The base guide fee is 700 PLN for a Wrocław pickup-and-return outing of up to 8 hours. A meeting at Świdnica or Wałbrzych station with drop-off at a local station is 600 PLN; guests arrange their own trains. Prague pickup and Wrocław–Prague transfers have a base rate of 800 PLN. An Express transfer of up to 6 hours is 700 PLN after a 100 PLN discount
• Fuel is not included and is paid by the client directly at the petrol station; fuel payments do not go to the guide
• Entry fees to castles and attractions are paid separately by the client
• Parking is paid separately by the client
• For the faster Wrocław–Prague route using Czech toll motorways, a one-day Czech vignette is required. It currently costs 230 CZK for a standard-fuel car (2026 tariff); the client pays this amount to the guide, who buys it online. A route avoiding those motorways can be agreed
• A day longer than 8 hours may be arranged in advance for an additional fee
• A 150 PLN deposit may be requested for distant starting locations; it is credited toward the tour price. Any return of the deposit after cancellation is arranged by agreement using the original payment method, subject to the cancellation policy below
• For multi-day tours, the guide's accommodation is arranged by the guide and paid for separately by the client, as agreed before booking
• The usual start time is 9:00; a start about two hours earlier or later may be arranged
• Payment details (cash or transfer) are agreed upon at booking

4. Cancellation Policy

• More than 48 hours notice: Full cancellation, no charge
• Less than 48 hours notice: 50% of agreed tour price may be charged
• Weather cancellations: Always free of charge — your safety comes first
• Guide cancellations: If I must cancel, you will receive a full refund or a reschedule offer

5. Liability and Safety

• I maintain the vehicle insurance required for the agreed trip
• Guests participate in all activities at their own risk
• 100 Castles is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property unless caused by proven negligence
• I may modify or end a tour when needed for safety
• Clients are responsible for their own travel insurance

6. Conduct

I ask guests to treat historical sites, nature, and local communities with respect. I may end a tour if a guest's behavior endangers others or damages property.

7. Accuracy of Information

I make every effort to keep this website accurate and up to date. Opening hours, entry fees, and site access may change without notice, so please confirm details for specific places before your visit.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, photographs, design) is owned by 100 Castles unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Polish courts.

10. Changes to Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is available at this URL with the date shown above.
